Are you tierd of using sleeping aids to get some rest? I know how you’re feeling, continous insomnia is a complete nightmare, and sadly the only thing that keeps you functioning are sleeping pills.

But it dosen’t have to be that way. You can start sleeping naturally again as soon you understand what the causes are:

There are quite a few causes as to why you have trouble sleeping. Here are the most common causes for insomnia:

  • Stress, Anxiety, Fear, Depression
  • Noise, Poor sleeping environment, Change of environment
  • Pain, Hormone shifts, Mental disorders

Now that you know a few of the causes, hopefully you can find out the reason why you can’t sleep.

From what I have experienced over the past years, I have found out that there are a few simple things you can do to improve your sleep, and receive more energy.

Here is what you can do:

Try to not worry too much, and stay off caffeine and other stimulants before you go to bed. I personally find it much easy to relax by listening to music (Not death metal, techno and whatnot), this only adds to your problem.

Try something, different! Such as sounds from the nature itself (Waterfalls, rain, wind, chimes) or perhaps some classical music (I prefer Baroque, use stereo headsets instead of speakers.)

So, the rule here is to try and relive yourself of whatever’s on your mind, and try not to think too much about sleeping as this will only make it MUCH harder!
